Saving dried pole beans

Well the end of last summer turned into this spring all of a sudden, and we’ve had these few pods of dried pole beans on our kitchen table through the whole winter. We were going to toss them in a soup, but spring cleaning is here, and we’re going to add them to our seed collection instead.
Opening the pods and picking out beans to put in the bowl is a good fine motor skill experience for any age.
